Moe Kyaw

Since then, I’ve had the chance to design everything from MVPs to marketing sites and internal tools. I’ve worked with startups, remote teams, and cross-functional squads — always with the same goal: build intuitive, useful products that create real impact.

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me tuning into podcasts — I love “Dive Club” by Ridd and “Talk of the Devils” from The Athletic (yes, I’m still suffering as a Man United fan). Or I might be trying to swim (more like walk around the shallow end) with my daughter, who thinks I’m the funniest guy in the pool.

About me

About me

Hey there — I’m Moe Kyaw (some friends also know me as Davi Shankar), a product designer originally from Mandalay 🇲🇲, now based in Bangkok 🇹🇭, dad to a sweet little girl, and husband to an incredibly supportive (and beautiful) wife. I’m also the eldest of three brothers, which probably explains why I’m wired to take ownership and quietly get things done.

I didn’t start my career in design. I studied High Performance Computing at university, but somewhere around my third year, I found myself more excited about layout grids than logic gates. That’s when I downloaded Sketch (yep, before Figma ruled the world) and started teaching myself design by screenshotting apps I loved. These days you’ve got Mobbin — back then, I was the Mobbin.
